Shipping Terms

Add $ 5.00 US for full insurance and postage on all non-bullion orders over $100 in the United States, and $6.50 for full insurance and postage on all non-bullion orders over $100 in Canada. We reserve the right to charge actual shipping charges (ie: higher shipping charges) on orders valued at less than $100.00, due to the high shipping costs we pay for shipping an order to you. As well, orders containing bullion items will have a higher shipping charge (at our discretion). If you have any questions, please contact us prior to placing your order if your order totals less than $100.00. This policy does NOT apply to Gatewest Auction items.

We will only ship world-wide for items bought on eBay, but please contact us before submitting an order to confirm shipping charges.

Most of the time, we use air mail. On heavy and bulky lots we use Canada Post ground Parcel Post.

SHIPPING TIMES: We ship most shipments within 5 business days after payment is received and processed, but shipping times may vary due to heavy volume. Parcel Post is not the fastest method of shipping, especially from Canada to the USA. A parcel may take anywhere from 1 to 3 weeks to reach you in the USA, and up to two months elsewhere. Registered mail is usually better, with an average delivery time of about 2 weeks.

Some packages to the United States ship via USPS through Pembina, ND. We usually enter these packages into that mailstream every 3 weeks. Any customer having packages shipped to the United Statues (regardless of our shipping method) who purchases merchandise totaling more than $2000 US per shipment (not necessarily per order, but per mailstream shipment) must provide us with either their Social Security Number or Business EIN Tax Number. This is a requirement by the US Customs Service. We retain this information only for the purposes of forwarding it to US Customs. Customers in the United States who have a Fed-EX shipment by us must suppy a SSN or EIN number REGARDLESS of value. Customers having packages shipped anywhere else other than the United States DO NOT need to provide such information.

INSURANCE:

We provide 100% insurance on anything shipped within Canada or the Continental USA, provided the full amount quoted for insured shipping is submitted. Customers outside North America may request insurance before shipment, and we will provide a quotation. If you believe a shipment to be lost, please wait for the appropriate delivery time to expire (see below), then e-mail a claim to us stating your address and name, item(s) lost and price paid. We will then initiate a claim. Please note: It is a felony to file a false claim for something which you have already received. Our claims are filed with Canada Post, which will investigate all claims with the recipient.
